This document introduces and provides an index for the groups of real number exercises on this web site. While it is not expected that great use will need to be made of calculators or other arithmetic aids, such use should be minimal. The student should be warned that the use of calculators could lead to significant rounding errors!
Care should be given that answers are no more precise than the data given for evaluation. The individual exercises linked to below each contain 20 individual examples to be evaluated. Where available links to corresponding answer sheets are provided against the exercise concerned.
