Restoring furniture
What a great summer we've had ans there's more to come. The cooler hours are a great time to get those restoration jobs done and before the winter weather kicks in. Of course you don't want to work up to much of a sweat so the first thing to do is come and see us and get some of our fantastic paint/varnish remover.
We have two products that will make life easy: Paramose Stripper is a product that you paint onto the finish of your furniture, you then check resularly to see if it "pulling through" then use a spatula (not a scraper) too remove. Steelwool the surface and you should have clean wood, if not apply another layer of stripper and repeat the process.
To complete the job apply Woodoc with either a rag or brush. Woodoc is a Polywax Sealer that gives you a water proof finish. Over time a rub with Woodocs Penetration Oil will feed the original finish and bring it back to life as well as re-waterproof the furniture.
PS: Its great on outdoor furniture.
